Casey C Zollman construction was started in 2004 when Casey stopped roasting coffee and entered in to the construction trade. At this time the business was basically a labor subcontractor. Almost all the contracts were with a very well established contractor who trained Casey about the trade.
The scope of the business has been vast, but there has always been a very large emphasis placed on quality work and making the customer happy. The business has focused on all aspects of the building industry, from excavation to finish work, thus giving Casey the experience of many facets of building
Some past projects include:
~Custom guest house featuring, interior colored and stamped concrete floors, hand framed vaulted ceilings, custom cabinets and countertops
~Commercial ADA handicap ramp, utalizing stamped concrete for slip-resistance, the concrete was colored to blend naturally with the red rock in the landscape block planters
~Custom decks, using Trex and TimberTeck composite decking, along with metal and compostie ralling
~Second story kitchen addition placed upon 8 foot concrete walls. This kitchen included the installation of tile throughout the addition and existing house, with the customer's brand inlayed in the floor. New Cabinets for the existing kitchen and a completly new kitchen for their outside kitchen.
~Building an airplane hanger, which included everything from gravel and concrete work to custom cabinets to accomidate a washtub for veterinary work.
As time has moved forward and building knowledge has become second nature the owner has realized, that in order to be the best at something he must specialize in a particular part of the building phase. It goes back to the old saying "A jack of many trades, but a master of none."
The more kitchens and paticularly countertops that he completes the more he relizes how much he enjoys building and creating countertios. So in order to be the best he has decided to turn his focus to kitchens and baths; with a specific emphasis on seamless custom countertops.
However, with this move Casey finds himself still involved with Casey L Severe Construction. Casey Severe has picked up a line of semi-custom cabinets, Edgewater cabinets that are built in Boring, Oregon. Casey Severe's new business name is "Casey Leon's Cabinets," and they will feature "Casey's Countertops," named for Casey Zollman, owner of Zollman Construction.
